A few things
to keep in mind.

App Store license

Copies of Rent obtained through the App Store are subject to the license terms provided with the app. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a custom license is supplied with the App Store listing. It covers the software license, permitted use, warranties, and limitations of liability.

This page explains Rent’s intended use and practical limitations. It does not replace the applicable App Store license or limit rights you have under applicable law.

What Rent does

Rent helps you organize properties, units, tenant contacts, leases, invoices, and payments you record. It is a recordkeeping tool for landlords and property owners.

Rent does not collect or transfer money, connect to bank accounts, verify that a payment occurred, provide legal or tax advice, or file tax returns. Reports reflect the records you enter. They do not calculate net income or expenses.

Your records and responsibilities

Your rental records remain yours. Enter only information you are entitled to store and use, and protect the privacy of tenants and other people whose details you record. You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries and for checking amounts, dates, balances, reports, and invoices before relying on or sharing them.

Using Rent does not change a lease, establish that money was paid, or replace your obligations as a landlord. Keep original payment evidence and other records you need.

Storage, sync, and exports

Records save locally. iCloud synchronization depends on Apple’s services, your Apple Account, connectivity, and available storage. Transfers may take time. Check that changes arrived on another device before relying on them.

Keep separate copies of important records using the available exports. The structured backup feature exports data; this version does not offer one-click backup restoration. Deleting a record in Rent moves it into recoverable storage rather than permanently erasing it. See the privacy policy for retention and deletion details.

Protect access to your devices, Apple Account, and exported files. Files you choose to share are handled by the recipient or destination service under its own terms.

Availability and changes

Features, supported operating systems, and availability may change between releases. Sync and other Apple services may be interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted access or immediate synchronization.

The App Store listing identifies the version and requirements available to you. The website will identify material updates to these usage terms by changing the effective date.

This website provides information and support for Rent. You may use it for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation or misuse another person’s information.
